Preparing the Planting Beds
All of our landscape installations start with proper bed preparation to prepare the planting beds. We don’t want our plants to just survive… we want them to thrive. We incorporate organic matter and/or topsoil to ensure the best possible environment for root growth and moisture retention and/or drainage.
Shrub Selection and Installation
We select our plant material from local growers to ensure the highest quality for your landscape. Our shrubs, plants, trees, and flowers are hand-picked to safeguard against disease. We adhere to strict horticultural standards for placement and planting procedures.
Irrigation
State of the art watering systems are available to help supplement natural rainfall to aid in establishing your new landscape. From fully automated, to simple drip systems on plant material, our goal is efficiency. Matched precipitation rates ensure minimal waste of resources while providing sufficient moisture to your plants.
Mulch
Mulch serves four purposes:
1. It builds a permeable layer to allow water, air, and nutrients to the root zone.
2. It helps prevent weed growth.
3. It retains moisture.
4. It breaks down to help build nutrients in the soil.
We offer many choices. We recommend natural, organic mulches for long-term plant and soil health.
Turf Installation
Proper soil preparation is essential for root growth, whether seeding or sodding. The sustainability of your lawn depends, in part, on drainage, soil PH, and nutrient balance.
