At their Spring Educational Conference on April 2nd, the Union County Neighborhood Leaders Forum gave away a Grand Prize of a Spring Makeover "Community Edition" for one lucky community. The Satterfield Community of Union County won new landscaping for the common areas of their neighborhood. Groundbreaking took place on April 29th, 2011. The landscape plan was created with assistance from the Monroe High School horticulture class. A variety of sponsors helped provide the plant materials. AA Tex Lawn will do the installation. We're happy to be involved in a project that will benefit a community so greatly as well as gets the future horticulturists from our area schools involved in the efforts.
