AA Tex Lawn Company is a family owned and operated landscaping company serving the Charlotte-Metro area since 1980. What began as a small company with a dedicated focus on providing value to our clients has steadily grown. We have watched the green industry grow through decades of changes and have maintained our focus on customer service. We have also upheld our educational preparation with the ever-changing green industry through local, state and national organizations.

 

Mark Lay (CLP, CLT), founder and president of the company, started the company in 1979 after graduating from Charlotte Catholic High School. With only an old truck, two $25 lawn mowers and a desire to make people happy, an American dream was born. Hard work and perseverance propelled this company until Mark’s younger brother, Cory (CLT), returned from Naval service in Desert Shield and Desert Storm to join his brother in 1992. Together they have created one of the greatest duos in the industry.

 

As a family owned, local company, we are committed to the community where we grew up and where we are raising our families. In the past, we have worked with the CGMA through their community service projects involving various local service projects. We sponsor athletic teams and help with local ball fields to help make our area a place to be proud of.
